Thanks to a gift from the Seaman Family Foundation, our library will be sponsoring a Wonder Bus trip on Saturday, May 20. We’ll be visiting the Newark Earthworks and Dawes Arboretum, with a stop at the Velvet Ice Cream Company on the way home. Charge of $20/person includes all expenses for the bus and admissions. Details and registrations are available at the library, Weaver’s True Value Hardware, and Salt Creek Bakery. Space in limited- first come, first served. Hop on the bus and enjoy a fun day out!

Our year-long 25th Anniversary celebration continues! Author Conrad Storad visited in April. Second graders from Fredericksburg Elementary enjoyed their time at the library with Conrad, and each received a personalized signed copy of his book Gator Gator Second Grader. Homeschoolers also visited, each selecting a book to take home, signed by Conrad.
